What I Think Art Is:

Art is all around us. It s defined differently to each and every individual. A single piece of artwork may be viewed as beautiful in one person's mind and not so beautiful in another person's eyes. Most art shows an artists artist's emotions and feelings at the time that they created it. Not all forms of art have a specific theme or message, some art is just something that the artist threw together at the time. Art is not only found at museums and galleries, it can be found everywhere. To be considered an artist, one does not have to be recognized, anyone can create a piece of artwork. Most artists are never recognized or famous. All artwork is unique to the person who created it and some people may love it, while others may hate it. All art does not hold monetary value. People create pieces of artwork because it makes them feel good and represents something meaningful to themselves. Many pieces of art contain hidden meanings, but not all art does.
